Travelling by plane The airport Preveza/Aktio, about 20 minutes by car from Lefkas, is served by diverse European airports during the sommer months. In addition there is the possibility – all year round – to fly to Athens and from there either to fly to Preveza or to travel overland by bus to Lefkada (about 5 hours driving-time) For more information you can call the bus station in Lefkada +30 26450-22364 or in Athens +30 210-5150108.
	Travelling by car Lefkas can be reached from the main-land round the clock via a turning bridge. Cars take the ferry from one of the Italian ports on the Adriatic coast, Triest, Venice, Ancona or Bari, to Igomenitsa. From there, it is another 100 km, roughly 1.5 hours, to your destination.
